Retractable banner project

Our next tafe assignement was to create a design for a large retractable banner for a local business advertising their shop. The banners are about 2m high so they need to be very high resolution pictures to print out clearly at that size.

My banner is for the local cinema, advertising an oscar movie promotion. It's a made up promotion but I think it would be a good idea. During the month they would play 11 best picture oscar winning movies. I have embedded pictures of each of the movies into the film strip.

 

My CD cover design!!

In our tafe class we were asked to select a music playlist and then design a CD cover (front and back) that suited the theme of the music.

I chose some forgotten eighties tracks (plus a couple of nineties songs snuck their way in somehow). Here is my cover:

Ceramic photos now on the blog spot

I've loaded up some new photos of the ceramic pieces I made last year onto the 'Ceramic Photos' page. Most of these are taken in Mum's garden where they all currently reside.

Another exciting blog.

This is my second blog. At this stage blogging seems a lot like facebook. I have set this blog up for my tafe course hence the pages with definitions on digital media definitions (very exciting stuff). So if you're wondering what ADSL or HTTP stand for check out the pages.

I will set up another page soon with pictures of my ceramics works. I'm learning photo shop now so i can play around with the pictures and make them look really fancy.

So stay tuned for more action-packed blogs from me about what movie i saw during the week and the latest BBC crime show Mum's watching. I watching one right now with her. She's very strict about TV usage rights.
